No fee is charged for the victim's copy.
Crash reports are available to drivers and owners of vehicles listed on the report. The fee is $25. To get one, call 302-322-9800 Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and ask for the police secretary. Having the Crash Information Exchange Form on hand speeds up the process. For lost traffic tickets, copies may be obtained in person with valid ID at no charge.

New Castle FOIA Form
The City of New Castle has its own FOIA request form for all public records, including police reports and arrest data. Required fields cover the name of the public body, your full name and contact info, the request date, and a detailed list of records sought. Be as specific as you can, noting types of records, dates, parties to correspondence, and subject matter.

New Castle County Sheriff's Office
